Formed in 2002 by Scot Bendall and Alain de la Mata, La Boca is an independent design circus working from a shared studio space with close friends (and occasional enemies) DC Recordings, on Portobello Road, West London. With a taste for the surreal and the bizarre, La Boca’s motto is “Putting the Ape into Apricot”, and with a CV that spans sleeve art for highly collectable limited vinyl releases to full scale media campaigns, their twisted touch has left it’s indelible mark on projects for a wide range of international clients including: Simian Mobile Disco, Amelia's Magazine, The Emperor Machine, Sixpack, Specialten Magazine, Artificial Eye, Lostprophets, Sony BMG, BAC Films, Bullet For My Valentine, Studio Ghibli, Wichita Recordings, Interscope Records
